Photo Submission Guide

• Remove any eyewear and colored contacts

• Have a clean, makeup-free face (I want to see your natural beauty, and your photos are confidential)

• Let any fake tan fade before taking your photos, as it may alter your results

• Wear a white t-shirt. If you don’t have a white t-shirt, you can use a towel and wrap it around you. The key is to make sure there is no colored clothing near your face

• Take your photos in natural, indirect light. To achieve this, stand in front of a window to allow as much natural light as possible to illuminate your face. Make sure there are no windows behind you, as this will cause backlighting and make your face appear dark. Avoid taking photos during golden hour, as it can cast unwanted yellow tones on your skin

• Take your photos head-on and at eye level (no side profile or angles)

• If you want to smile, make sure you keep your mouth closed so I can see your natural lip color

• Take a few photos with your hair completely away from your face (you can even wrap your hair in a white towel to get it out of your face)

• Take a few photos with your hair down

• Email your photos to me at client@perfectshadeofapricot.com and please include your name in the subject line

• I will reach out to you if I need more photos. Getting the photos right is a crucial step to complete an accurate analysis
